  • People who have received botulinum toxin (such as Botox) injections into the affected arm or hand within the past six months
  • People who have had major surgery on the bones or joints of the affected arm or hand
  • People who have serious ongoing health conditions affecting other parts of the body
  • People who have a history of epileptic seizures
