Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are 18 years of age or older
- People who have been diagnosed with plaque psoriasis for more than 6 months
- People whose plaque psoriasis is considered moderate-to-severe, meaning it covers at least 10% of the body surface area, scores 12 or higher on a standard severity scale (PASI), and rates 3 or higher on a 5-point overall assessment scale (IGA)
- People whose condition is at a stage where doctors would normally consider full-body (systemic) treatment or light-based (phototherapy) treatment
- Women who could potentially become pregnant must have a negative pregnancy test result before joining
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have a type of psoriasis other than plaque psoriasis, such as guttate, erythrodermic, or pustular psoriasis, or psoriasis caused by a medication
- People with a significant history or current signs of certain serious health conditions, including problems affecting the liver, kidneys, heart, lungs, digestive system, nervous system, hormonal system, blood, mental health, skin (other than psoriasis), metabolism, or any active infectious disease
- People with a history of cancer, except for certain skin cancers (non-melanoma type) or cancers that were fully treated at least 5 years ago with no signs of return
- People with a known allergy or sensitivity to any ingredient in the study drug, ORKA-001
- Women who are currently breastfeeding or plan to breastfeed during the study period
