Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have never previously been treated with any advanced therapies for their condition — including a range of biologic or targeted medications such as TNF-alpha blockers, anti-integrin agents, anti-interleukin agents, sphingosine-1-phosphate receptor modulators, JAK inhibitors, or their generic or biosimilar versions, as assessed by the participating doctor
• People (or their legally recognised representative, where applicable) who are willing to sign a consent form allowing the trial site to verify their health records, in line with local requirements

Who may not be able to join:

• People with very severe or rapidly worsening UC, bowel infection, or other conditions that make surgery to remove the colon (colectomy) likely
• People for whom guselkumab is medically unsuitable or not recommended according to the official prescribing guidelines
• People who are currently enrolled in, or are planning to join, any other clinical trial between the time of signing consent and completing the final dose of guselkumab
• People whose treatment plan involves using guselkumab together with a second advanced therapy at the same time
• People who have previously had surgery to remove all or part of the colon, or who have had a pouch surgically created as part of that process
