Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are 18 years of age or older at the time of joining the study
- People who have signed and dated a consent form agreeing to take part, in line with the study's legal and ethical requirements
- People with a confirmed diagnosis of moderate-to-very severe COPD (classified as GOLD stages 2–4), confirmed by a breathing test showing airflow limitation, measured when the person is not having a flare-up
- People who have had at least 2 moderate flare-ups, or at least 1 severe flare-up, of their COPD in the past 52 weeks
- People who have been using a two-medication inhaler combination (such as LABA/LAMA, ICS/LAMA, or ICS/LABA) as their regular COPD treatment for at least 6 weeks before the screening visit
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have been treated with a triple inhaler combination (ICS/LAMA/LABA) as regular COPD maintenance therapy at any point in the 52 weeks before the screening visit
- People whose COPD has been caused by a condition called alpha-1-antitrypsin deficiency
- People who have also been diagnosed with certain other lung conditions, including bronchiectasis, sarcoidosis, interstitial lung diseases, or idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, or who have asthma flare-ups or any other ongoing or recent illness that the trial doctor believes would affect their ability to participate or affect the study results
- People who are currently taking part in, or have taken part in, another interventional clinical trial within the past 52 weeks (note: being part of an observational registry that does not change a person's treatment does not count as an exclusion — confirm with trial site if unsure)
