Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 18 years of age or older.
- You have recently been diagnosed with a type of glaucoma called Primary Open Angle Glaucoma (POAG) or a condition called Ocular Hypertension (OHT), where the pressure in your eye is higher than normal.
- The pressure in your eye has been measured as higher than 21mmHg across three separate clinic visits.
- Your glaucoma has been assessed as early or moderate stage based on eye scans and examinations (confirm with trial site for specific measurements).
- You are willing to take part in the study and have given your written agreement to do so.
Who may not be able to join:
- You have previously had any medical treatment, surgery, or laser procedure for glaucoma.
- You have been diagnosed with a type of glaucoma that is present from birth (congenital glaucoma) or glaucoma caused by another condition (secondary glaucoma).
- Your glaucoma has been assessed as advanced stage based on eye examination results (confirm with trial site for specific measurements).
- You have a cloudy or scarred cornea (the clear front surface of your eye) that could affect eye pressure readings or the ability to examine your eye properly.
- You have any cloudiness inside the eye, such as cataracts or bleeding in the eye, that prevents a proper examination of the back of the eye.
- You have had previous eye surgery, such as cataract surgery or glaucoma surgery.
- You have a history of an eye injury or inflammation inside the eye (uveitis).
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
