Who might be able to join this trial:
- People between 18 and 80 years old (including those aged exactly 18 or 80); any gender or race may be considered
- People with no history of asthma, allergic bronchopulmonary aspergillosis (a lung condition caused by mold allergy), or other long-term breathing conditions
- People with no history of allergic conditions, such as hay fever, eczema, or food allergies
- People whose lung function test results are normal or close to normal

Who may not be able to join:
- People who have asthma, bronchiectasis (damaged airways), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, active tuberculosis, a blood clot in the lungs, lung cancer, a collapsed lung, coughing up blood, high blood pressure in the lungs, or scarring/inflammation of the lung tissue
- People who have a serious illness affecting other parts of the body, such as a recent heart attack, stroke, severe uncontrolled high blood pressure, serious heart rhythm problems, heart failure, a large bulge in a major blood vessel, liver failure, kidney failure, blood disorders, or cancer — particularly if recently diagnosed or currently being treated
- People who have taken antibiotics, antifungal medications, immune-suppressing drugs, chemotherapy-type medicines, or steroid hormones within the four weeks before joining the trial
- People who have other medical reasons that would make the sputum induction test (a procedure to collect a mucus sample from the airways) unsafe for them (confirm with trial site)
