Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You must be willing and able to sign a consent form before the study begins
  • You must be able to walk and move around independently, and be between 21 and 70 years old (inclusive) on the day you sign the consent form
  • You must have a confirmed genetic diagnosis of Huntington's disease (HD), with a specific genetic marker (called a CAG repeat) of 40 or above — this must have been confirmed by a genetic test before the screening process

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have previously had gene therapy, a cell transplant, or any experimental brain surgery to treat HD
  • You have signs of active hepatitis B or hepatitis C infection, or you have HIV (confirm with trial site)
  • You have a history of certain serious heart rhythm problems or electrical heart abnormalities, or a personal or family history of a specific inherited heart condition called Long QT Syndrome or Torsade de Pointes
  • Women who are physically capable of becoming pregnant are not eligible unless they have had a specific surgical procedure (such as removal of both ovaries, a full hysterectomy, or removal of both fallopian tubes) at least six weeks before starting the study treatment, or are using a highly effective form of contraception during the study and for 8 months after stopping treatment (confirm with trial site)
  • Women who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding are not eligible
