Who might be able to join this trial:

- People who are able to do basic physical activity and complete leg circulation and movement assessments
- People who have normal thinking and understanding abilities, enough to follow instructions and agree to take part
- Young adults aged 20–40 years with no known long-term illnesses or circulation problems in the legs (for the healthy comparison group)
- Older adults aged 65–95 years with no major illnesses that affect blood flow in the legs (for the healthy older adults group)
- Older adults aged 65–95 years who have been diagnosed with one or more conditions known to affect circulation in the legs — such as peripheral arterial disease, chronic venous insufficiency (including varicose veins), diabetes, high blood pressure, or high cholesterol (for the impaired circulation group)
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have had a recent injury to the lower leg or foot that has caused fluid leakage, swelling, or other issues that would make it unsafe to take part in the assessments or procedures
