Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are male
- People who are at least 18 years old
- People who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer (adenocarcinoma) at any stage (Stage I through Stage IV), confirmed through a tissue or cell sample test
- People who are currently receiving hormone-blocking treatment, such as androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) or similar medications that block male hormones
- People who experience moderate to severe hot flashes that interfere with daily life, based on a specific rating scale (a score of 4 or higher on the Hot Flash Related Daily Interference Scale)
- People who are generally well enough to carry out daily activities with little to no limitation (as assessed by a standard medical scale called the ECOG performance status, scoring 0 or 1)

- People with a serious or uncontrolled illness, infection, or health condition that the trial doctor considers would make participation unsafe or inappropriate
- People with a known allergy or sensitivity to acupuncture needles
- People with any condition that the trial doctor believes would prevent them from following the study procedures properly
- People who are unable to meet the requirements of the study for any reason
- People who have had acupuncture specifically for hot flashes within the 6 months before enrolling in the trial
