Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 18 years old or older
- You have been diagnosed with psychosis by a doctor
- You are currently receiving your antipsychotic medication as a long-acting injection (a shot given every few weeks instead of daily pills)
- You are currently being seen and monitored at the Antipsychotic Clinic of ULSTMAD
- Your psychiatrist has confirmed in writing that you are able to understand and take part in the study
- You are able to give your written agreement to take part, either yourself or through someone who legally represents you
- (For the exercise group only) You live close enough to the exercise sessions to be able to attend them in person
Who may not be able to join:
- You miss more than 15% of the supervised exercise sessions (this applies to the exercise group only)
- You are unable or unwilling to attend all four of the main check-in or assessment appointments during the study
- You decide at any point that you no longer wish to take part or are unable to give your agreement to join
- You are not currently receiving your antipsychotic medication as a long-acting injection
- You are not a patient at the Antipsychotic Clinic of ULSTMAD
