Who might be able to join this trial:

• You have been diagnosed with a type of lung cancer called non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) that cannot be removed by surgery and is at Stage III.
• You have already received at least 2 rounds of a combined treatment involving chemotherapy and radiation therapy given at the same time, with a total radiation dose of at least 54 Gy.
• Your cancer has not gotten worse after completing that combined chemotherapy and radiation treatment.
• Your general health and ability to carry out daily activities is rated as good (a score of 0 or 1 on a standard doctor-used scale).

Who may not be able to join:

• If your lung cancer is of a certain tissue type (non-squamous), you may not be eligible if your cancer has specific genetic changes known as EGFR mutations or ALK rearrangements.
• You have an active autoimmune disease (a condition where your immune system attacks your own body).
• You have serious heart or blood vessel problems, such as uncontrolled high blood pressure, heart failure, a recent heart condition, serious irregular heartbeats, or a major blood clot, bleeding event, or stroke within the past 6 months.
• You have had significant or advanced lung disease in the past 6 months, a history of serious lung inflammation requiring steroid treatment, or currently have or are suspected to have a lung inflammation condition called interstitial lung disease or pneumonitis.
• You have received any other cancer treatments (other than the combined chemotherapy and radiation treatment) for your Stage III lung cancer.
