Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are male and aged 18 or older (or meet the minimum age required by local rules at the time of agreeing to join).
- People who have prostate cancer that has been confirmed to be getting worse, shown by rising PSA blood test results, new or growing soft tissue tumours on scans, or new or worsening bone disease on scans.
- People who have previously been treated with one or two hormone-blocking treatments for prostate cancer, and whose cancer continued to grow during or after at least 8 weeks of that treatment.
- People who have not previously received chemotherapy (including taxane-based chemotherapy) for their prostate cancer in its advanced, castration-resistant stage.
- People who have had their testicles surgically removed or are receiving ongoing hormone-suppressing therapy, and whose testosterone levels are confirmed to be at a very low (castrate) level.
- People who are in relatively good general health, as measured by a standard medical scoring system — specifically, a score of 0 (fully active) or 1 (limited in strenuous activity but able to carry out light work).
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have previously received any treatment that specifically targets a protein called B7-H3, including a type of drug known as an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) targeting B7-H3.
- People who have serious or uncontrolled heart or blood vessel disease, as defined by the trial's medical guidelines (confirm with trial site).
- People who have a history of, or currently have, a non-infectious lung condition called interstitial lung disease or pneumonitis that required steroid treatment.
