Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have given written consent before any study procedures take place
- People aged between 18 and 80 years old (inclusive)
- People who have had a stroke on one side of the brain, affecting the upper or lower brain regions (confirm with trial site)
- People who are at least 6 months past their stroke at the time of joining
- People who have been discharged from hospital and are currently living at home in the community

- People with very severe weakness or loss of movement in the arm and hand, based on a specific assessment score (confirm with trial site)
- People with significant difficulties with thinking or understanding language that would make it hard to follow study instructions or complete tasks, as determined during screening
- People who have other conditions affecting the brain, nervous system, or bones and joints that also affect how the arms work — for example, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, severe joint disease, or a nerve injury in the shoulder or arm
