Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with a common type of hair loss (known as pattern baldness) confirmed by your medical history, appearance, and a scalp examination, and your hair loss falls within a mild-to-moderate range on standard grading scales
- You are willing to take part and have given your written agreement to join the trial
- You are between 18 and 60 years old and are generally in good health
- You have not used any hair loss treatments or medications in the past six months
- You do not have patchy hair loss (alopecia areata), any active scalp infections, or nerve/muscle conditions
Who may not be able to join:
- Your hair loss has been progressing for more than 5 years
- You currently have an active skin condition (such as a psoriasis flare-up) or have diabetes or a heart/blood vessel condition that is not well controlled
- The trial investigator decides, for any reason, that the trial would not be suitable or practical for you (confirm with trial site)
