Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You are between 45 and 60 years old.
  • You have had a stroke caused by a blocked blood vessel (ischemic stroke) affecting one side of the body.
  • Your stroke happened more than two weeks ago but no more than six months ago.
  • You are able to walk for 2 to 4 minutes, with or without support or a walking aid.
  • You have mild to moderate muscle stiffness after your stroke, rated as grade 1 or 2 on a standard medical scale (confirm with trial site).
  • You are able to understand and follow simple spoken instructions, as measured by a short memory and thinking test (with a score of 24 or higher out of 30).

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have had more than one stroke, or your stroke affected the brainstem or cerebellum (areas at the back and base of the brain), or your stroke was caused by bleeding in the brain rather than a blockage.
  • You have severe muscle stiffness after your stroke, rated as grade 3 or higher on a standard medical scale (confirm with trial site).
