Who might be able to join this trial:

- People who have conditions such as diabetes or autoimmune diseases (where the immune system attacks the body)
- People who have used honey-based products in the three months before joining the trial
- People who consume honey-based products at any point during the three months of the study (this is tracked through a diary and by returning used product sachets at follow-up visits)
- People who have taken antioxidant supplements, traditional medicines, or herbal products in the three months before joining the trial
- People who are using steroid eye drops, taking steroids by mouth or injection, or taking anti-inflammatory medicines
- People who have or have had sepsis (a serious, life-threatening response to infection)
- People whose rate of following the study requirements falls below 75%
