Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 19 years or older
- People whose aphasia (difficulty with speaking or understanding language) has been confirmed by a specialist to be caused by a stroke
- People who have had their first-ever stroke within the last 3 months, confirmed by a brain scan such as a CT or MRI
- People who have been diagnosed with aphasia using a specific speech assessment tool called the PK-WAB-R
- People whose first (native) language is Korean
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose stroke is still progressing or is medically unstable
- People who have other brain or nervous system conditions that may also affect their ability to use language
- People who have a major mental health condition — such as severe depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or dementia — that requires ongoing medication
- People who have a major neurological (brain or nervous system) disease in addition to their stroke
- People with a confirmed history of a degenerative nerve condition
- People with a current or past history of substance or alcohol use disorder
- People with significant vision impairment, specifically a visual acuity measurement between 0.1 and 0.3 or lower (confirm with trial site)
- People with an intellectual disability
- People who are unable to read or to provide informed consent
