• People who have another condition that could affect how well the replacement joint works, such as arthritis in the wrist
• People under 22 years of age whose bones are still growing
• People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
• People who have a medical condition that makes surgery in general unsafe for them
• People who have an intellectual disability that would prevent them from following their surgeon's instructions during recovery
