Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are 18 years of age or older
- People who have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis of the foot and/or ankle by a specialist doctor, confirmed through a physical examination and/or imaging (such as X-rays)
- People who have experienced pain in the ankle joint on most days for at least three months
- People who are willing to be randomly assigned to a treatment group and attend follow-up appointments
- People who have a sufficient understanding of the Turkish language
- People who score at least 24 out of 30 on a standard memory and thinking assessment (the Standardised Mini Mental Test)
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have previously had ankle fusion surgery (arthrodesis) or a joint replacement on the affected ankle
- People who have received physical therapy for ankle osteoarthritis within the last three months
- People who have vision or hearing problems that could affect their ability to participate in treatment
- People who have a neuromuscular disease (a condition affecting the nerves and muscles) (confirm with trial site)
- People who have had an injection directly into the ankle joint within the last three months
- People who start a new medication specifically for their ankle condition during the study period
