Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You have been diagnosed with a specific type of sudden pancreas inflammation (acute pancreatitis) using standard medical guidelines
  • More than half of your pancreas tissue has been damaged/died, and you have lost at least 5% of your body weight since becoming ill

  • You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You are unable to give your own agreement to take part in the trial
