  • People aged 18 years or older
  • People who have been diagnosed with an ischemic stroke (a stroke caused by a blocked blood vessel)

  • People who are able to communicate

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who have difficulty perceiving one side of their surroundings due to their stroke (a condition called hemispatial neglect)
  • People who have had more than one stroke
  • People who have a diagnosed psychiatric condition
  • People who have joint, bone, neurological, or heart and lung conditions that a doctor determines would make the planned exercises unsafe
