Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults aged 18 or older who have been diagnosed with moderate to severe knee osteoarthritis (grade 3 or 4 on a standard medical scale) and report a pain level of 5 or higher out of 10.
- People whose leg alignment shows an inward bowing of the knee beyond a certain angle (sometimes called "varus" or "bow-legged" alignment), as measured by their doctor.

- People who have difficulty bearing weight on their other (opposite) leg.
- People who have metal implants or foreign objects in either of their lower limbs.
- People who have previously had knee surgery such as ligament reconstruction or bone-correction surgery on the thigh or shin bone.
- People who do not wish to take part in the study.
- People who are unlikely to follow their treating doctor's instructions or the required study schedule.
