Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who are between 18 and 65 years old at the time of initial screening
  • People who are able to understand the study and agree to take part in it

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who have had a primary mental health diagnosis other than schizophrenia in the 12 months before screening
  • People whose schizophrenia has not responded to two or more adequate antipsychotic medication treatments in the past, or who have previously been treated with clozapine for treatment-resistant schizophrenia
  • People who need to take certain medications known to significantly affect how the body processes other drugs (called moderate or strong CYP3A4 inhibitors or inducers) (confirm with trial site)
  • People who have received a long-acting injectable antipsychotic within the last 12 weeks before the study starts — or within the last 24 weeks if the medication was INVEGA TRINZA®
