  • People who have other nervous system conditions that significantly affect balance or physical function, such as Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, or nerve damage in the limbs
  • People who have significant bone or joint conditions unrelated to their stroke, such as severe hip or knee arthritis, or amputation of a leg
  • People who have an active infection, cancer, or an ongoing disease that causes widespread inflammation in the body (confirm with trial site)
  • People whose stroke affected the cerebellum, the part of the brain that controls coordination (confirm with trial site)
  • People who have had major surgery or been admitted to an intensive care unit within the past 3 months
  • People who cannot safely perform balance tests because of serious vision or hearing difficulties
  • People whose blood test results are incomplete or missing, making it impossible to calculate a specific nutritional score used in the study (confirm with trial site)
