Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are an adult aged 60 or older living in South Korea
- You use a Samsung Galaxy smartphone and are able to use apps on it
- You have a strong enough memory and thinking ability to understand and follow the study instructions (based on a standard memory test score of 21 or above)
- If your memory test score is below the usual requirement, you may still be eligible if you understand what the study involves and a legal guardian also gives their consent on your behalf
Who may not be able to join:
- You have already been diagnosed with dementia at the time of joining the trial
- You have serious vision or hearing problems that would stop you from taking part in mental or psychological tests
- You are unable to read or write in a way that would prevent you from completing thinking and memory tests
- You did not complete at least 80% of a short 2-day practice task required before the study begins, even after being given one extra chance following additional guidance
- You currently have a problem with alcohol or drug misuse
- You are unable to walk, or you have a mental health condition that would prevent you from completing surveys
- You are currently receiving cancer treatment, or you received chemotherapy in the last 6 months
