Who may not be able to join:

  • You have already been diagnosed with dementia at the time of joining the trial
  • You have serious vision or hearing problems that would stop you from taking part in mental or psychological tests
  • You are unable to read or write in a way that would prevent you from completing thinking and memory tests
  • You did not complete at least 80% of a short 2-day practice task required before the study begins, even after being given one extra chance following additional guidance
  • You currently have a problem with alcohol or drug misuse
  • You are unable to walk, or you have a mental health condition that would prevent you from completing surveys
  • You are currently receiving cancer treatment, or you received chemotherapy in the last 6 months
