Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are at least 18 years old (or the legal age of consent in the country where the trial is taking place) at the time of signing the consent form.
- People who have been diagnosed with breast cancer that is hormone receptor positive (HR+) and HER2 negative (HER2-), and where the cancer has either spread to nearby tissue or to other parts of the body — confirmed by a laboratory tissue test.
- People whose general physical health and ability to carry out daily activities is rated at a stable level of 0 or 1 on a standard medical scale (meaning fully active or restricted in strenuous activity but able to do light work).
- People whose major organs (such as kidneys, liver, and blood cells) are functioning at an adequate level.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have already received systemic (whole-body) treatment for their cancer after it became advanced or spread to other parts of the body.
- People who have previously been treated with certain targeted drugs known as CDK4 or CDK2 inhibitors, or with any experimental anti-cancer drug — with one possible exception: people who received certain hormone-blocking drugs (known as SERDs) as earlier preventive treatment may still be considered, provided their cancer came back more than 12 months after their last dose of that treatment (confirm with trial site).
- People who have active cancer spread to the membranes surrounding the brain and spinal cord, or who have brain metastases that have not been treated or are not stable.
