Who might be able to join this trial:

• You are between 18 and 75 years old and have been diagnosed with stage III or IV ovarian cancer that has not yet been treated with any therapy
• You have already completed surgery to remove as much of the tumor as possible (with no visible tumor or only a small amount remaining)
• You are generally able to carry out daily activities with little or no limitation (as measured by a standard health scoring system)
• Your doctors expect you to live for at least 12 weeks

• You have blood clotting problems, such as low platelet levels or abnormal clotting test results
• You have a blood clot in the lung artery (pulmonary embolism) or in the large vein running through your abdomen (inferior vena cava thrombosis)
• You have a tumor in your brain or spinal cord, or the cancer has spread there with active symptoms, or you have a history of epilepsy (some exceptions may apply — confirm with trial site)
• You have had another type of cancer in the past 5 years, unless it was a minor, locally treated skin cancer or certain early-stage cancers that are considered fully cured
• You have had a serious heart problem in the past 6 months, such as heart failure, a heart attack, dangerous irregular heartbeat, unstable chest pain, or blood pressure that cannot be controlled with medication
• Your doctor judges that any other illness, physical finding, or test result makes it unsafe for you to take the study drug
• You regularly take vitamin K by mouth (confirm with trial site)
• You have tuberculosis that is currently untreated or still being treated (those fully cured after standard treatment may be eligible)
• You have had a serious infection in the past 4 weeks, or an active infection in the past 2 weeks before starting the trial
• You have HIV, active hepatitis B, hepatitis C, or syphilis
