Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with knee osteoarthritis using a standard set of medical diagnostic guidelines known as the ACR criteria
- People whose knee osteoarthritis has been classified as stage 2 or 3 on a standard X-ray grading system called the Kellgren-Lawrence scale
- People who have had an injection directly into the knee joint within the past month

- People who have a history of a major psychiatric illness

- People who have a long-term infectious disease or another rheumatological (joint-related) disease
- People who have experienced a serious knee injury or had knee surgery in the last 6 months
- People who have a disease affecting the body's connective tissue (such as tendons, ligaments, or cartilage) (confirm with trial site)
- People who have a history of disease affecting the blood vessels in the limbs, or nerve damage affecting the outer parts of the body
- People whose knee osteoarthritis has been classified as stage 4 on the Kellgren-Lawrence X-ray grading scale
- People who have undergone a physiotherapy program for the affected knee within the last 3 months
