• People who use walking aids such as a cane, walker, or crutches
• People who have a vision or hearing impairment
• People who have a disorder affecting their vestibular system (the part of the inner ear responsible for balance)
• People who have a cognitive impairment that would affect their ability to cooperate with the study
• People who have serious heart or lung conditions that limit their ability to walk
• People who have had major surgery or a heart attack within the past three months
• People who have unstable coronary artery disease (an active or unpredictable heart condition affecting blood flow to the heart)
