Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are 50 years of age or older
- People who can speak and read English or Spanish at around a 6th-grade level
- People who have been diagnosed with Stage I, II, or III breast cancer that is hormone receptor-positive (meaning it responds to estrogen and/or progesterone) and HER2-negative, and who have finished their main cancer treatment between 3 and 12 months ago
- People who are post-menopausal, meaning it has been more than 12 months since their last period
- People experiencing elevated emotional distress related to their cancer, as measured by a specific questionnaire or assessed by the research team
- People who, if taking antidepressants or anti-anxiety medications, have been on a stable dose for more than 2 months
- People who are currently taking a hormone-blocking medication as part of their ongoing breast cancer treatment (called Adjuvant Endocrine Therapy)
- People who may or may not have received chemotherapy or radiation as part of their main cancer treatment
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are unable or unwilling to give formal consent to participate
- People diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer, HER2-positive breast cancer, or Triple Negative breast cancer
- People who had another cancer diagnosis (other than certain common skin cancers) within the 2 years before their current breast cancer diagnosis
- People with an active and untreated serious mental health condition, such as schizophrenia, psychosis, bipolar disorder, substance use disorder, panic disorder, or PTSD
- People with certain ongoing or serious medical conditions known to affect the immune system, such as HIV, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, hepatitis, multiple sclerosis, Graves' disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, or fibromyalgia (confirm with trial site for the full list; note that a history of heart disease such as stroke, heart attack, or heart failure does not appear to be automatically disqualifying)
- People with significant memory or thinking difficulties, as measured by a specific cognitive screening test (confirm with trial site)
- People who received immunotherapy as part of their cancer treatment
