Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 65 years of age or older
- You have been diagnosed with prostate cancer that was confirmed through a tissue sample (biopsy)
- You finished surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, or other cancer treatments (not including hormone therapy) more than 3 months ago
- You are experiencing feelings of loneliness related to having cancer
- You are able to walk on your own, though using a cane, walker, or similar device is fine (a wheelchair is not permitted)
- You are willing to be randomly placed into one of three study groups and attend at least 80% of the planned exercise sessions
- You have a home internet connection that can support video calls
Who may not be able to join:
- You are already regularly exercising in a group setting with other cancer survivors, such as with more than one exercise partner or in groups of three or more people
- You have a health condition, movement problem, nerve-related condition, or take medication that would make it unsafe for you to participate in live, remote resistance (strength-based) exercise (confirm with trial site)
- You have cognitive or thinking difficulties that would prevent you from completing surveys, taking part in the program, or giving your informed consent to participate
- You are not fluent in English, as the surveys, exercise instructions, and consent process are all conducted in English
