Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with a specific type of cancer — either non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), oesophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC), or skin melanoma — that has spread to other parts of the body or cannot be surgically removed
- People whose cancer has continued to grow during standard treatment, or who were unable to tolerate standard treatment (Part 1 of the trial), or who have received 1 to 2 previous systemic (whole-body) cancer treatments (Part 2 of the trial)
- People who have at least one area of cancer that can be measured on scans
- People who are generally well enough to carry out light activity and care for themselves, as assessed using a standard medical scale (confirm with trial site)
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have cancer that has spread to the brain or spinal cord and is currently active or causing symptoms
- People who already have moderate to severe nerve damage (such as numbness, tingling, or pain in the hands or feet)
- People who have diabetes that is not well controlled, as shown by a specific blood sugar test result of 10% or higher
- People who have a blood clot condition (such as a deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism) that has not been treated
- People who have previously received a therapy that targets a protein called GPNMB
- People who are known or suspected to have an allergy or sensitivity to any ingredient in the trial drug
