Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 30 and 80 years old (inclusive)
- You have been diagnosed with a type of eye condition called primary angle-closure disease (a condition related to the drainage angle in the eye), OR you have healthy eyes with normal drainage angles and are joining as a comparison participant
- The natural lens inside your eye has little to no cloudiness (early or no cataract), based on a standard grading system
- You are able and willing to sign a consent form agreeing to take part
Who may not be able to join:
- You have any other eye disease affecting the front or back of the eye, such as corneal disease, iris problems, certain lens disorders, vitreous problems, retinal diseases, or damage to the optic nerve
- You have previously had any eye surgery or laser treatment, such as cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, or any laser procedures on the eye
- You have a serious ongoing illness that could affect eye measurements, such as severe heart disease, kidney disease, lung disease, or advanced cancer
- You are unable to lie flat on your back for an eye ultrasound scan, or have another reason this scan cannot be done safely (confirm with trial site)
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- You have any other condition that the trial doctor believes could affect your ability to follow the study procedures or could affect the results (confirm with trial site)
