Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have been medically diagnosed with Stage 1 high blood pressure (systolic reading of 140–159 mmHg, diastolic reading of 90–99 mmHg) or Stage 2 high blood pressure (systolic reading of 160 mmHg or higher, diastolic reading of 100 mmHg or higher), as classified by JNC 8 Guidelines, and have been referred by a GP, specialist, or heart doctor from specific hospitals or clinics in Rawalpindi or Islamabad
• People who have been taking blood pressure medication for at least 3 months before the study begins
• People aged between 20 and 55 years old
• Both men and women are eligible to participate
• People who are willing to take part in an exercise program, have not participated in any regular exercise program in the past 6 months, are able to give their informed consent, and have been cleared as safe to exercise through a standard health screening questionnaire called the PAR-Q+

Who may not be able to join:

• People with very high blood pressure classified as Stage 3 or above (systolic reading of 180 mmHg or higher, or diastolic reading of 110 mmHg or higher), or those experiencing a hypertensive crisis, as defined by JNC 8 Guidelines
• People with severe knee problems or other bone or joint conditions that would limit their ability to exercise
• People whose blood pressure is not currently controlled or stable
• People who have had abdominal, bone and joint, or spinal surgery that could affect their ability to do core or breathing exercises
• People with neurological or psychiatric (brain, nerve, or mental health) conditions
• People with uncontrolled heart conditions, such as irregular heartbeat or a recent heart attack
• Women who are pregnant
