Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with plaque-type psoriasis (with or without psoriatic arthritis) for at least 6 months before the study begins — with or without joint involvement.
- People whose psoriasis is considered moderate to severe, based on standard skin assessment scores measured at the start of the study.
- People whose psoriasis is considered appropriate for systemic (whole-body) treatment, whether or not they have previously received biologic medications.
- Women who could become pregnant must have a negative pregnancy test at screening and at the start of the study, and must agree to pregnancy testing before each injection.
- People who have no signs or symptoms suggesting active tuberculosis (TB), based on medical history and physical examination.
- People who agree not to receive a BCG vaccine during the study or within 12 months after the last dose of the study drug.
- People who agree not to receive any live virus or live bacterial vaccine during the study or within 3 months after the last dose of the study drug.
- People who have read and signed a consent form showing they understand the study and are willing to take part.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have a non-plaque form of psoriasis, such as erythrodermic, guttate, or pustular psoriasis.
- People whose psoriasis appears to have been caused or worsened by certain medications, such as beta-blockers, calcium channel blockers, or lithium.
- People with a history of, or current signs of, significant liver or kidney problems, or serious uncontrolled conditions affecting the heart, blood vessels, lungs, digestive system, hormones, nervous system, blood, joints, mental health, or metabolism.
- People who have had a cancer diagnosis within the past 5 years, with some exceptions for certain treated skin cancers or cervical conditions with no signs of return — confirm specific exceptions with the trial site.
- People with a history of lymphoma or other diseases affecting the lymph system, or signs that may suggest such a condition, such as swollen lymph nodes or an enlarged spleen.
- People with a history of ongoing, repeated, or chronic infections, including recurrent sinus or lung infections, recurrent urinary tract infections, certain fungal infections, or open or infected skin wounds.
- People who test positive for hepatitis B, or who test positive for hepatitis C antibodies, unless specific conditions around prior treatment and test results have been met (confirm with trial site).
