Who might be able to join this trial:

Who may not be able to join:

• People who have had another cancer diagnosed within the past 2 years, unless it was a certain type of skin cancer (basal cell carcinoma or squamous cell skin cancer), or if a previous cancer is likely to significantly affect survival over the next 5 years

• People taking the blood-thinning medication warfarin, or those with a tendency to bleed in a way that would make a small implant procedure or surgery unsafe in the treating doctor's judgement — though certain other blood-thinning medications such as aspirin, clopidogrel, apixaban, and rivaroxaban are not considered a barrier to joining
• People who are already taking part in another treatment study specifically for prostate cancer (participation in quality of life, survivorship, exercise, or registry studies is not a barrier)
