Who might be able to join this trial:
For Part 1 of the trial:
- You are 6 years old or older at the time of signing the consent form
- A doctor has diagnosed you with asthma at least 12 months ago
- You are already using an inhaled steroid (low, medium, or high dose) along with other asthma medicines as part of your current treatment plan
- You (or your legal guardian, if applicable) are willing and able to give consent to take part
For Part 2 of the trial:
- You are 18 years old or older at the time of signing the consent form
- A doctor has diagnosed you with asthma at least 12 months ago
- You are already using a low or medium dose inhaled steroid along with other asthma medicines as part of your current treatment plan
- You (or your legal guardian, if applicable) are willing and able to give consent to take part
- You also fit into at least one of the following groups: your asthma is not well controlled, your asthma is well controlled, you have certain elevated markers related to asthma type in your blood, or you have low levels of those markers (confirm with trial site)
Who may not be able to join:
- You have been diagnosed with a long-term lung disease called COPD, or a heart condition called congestive heart failure
- You have moderate or severe difficulties with memory, thinking, or understanding
- You have moderate or severe heart disease
- You are taking medicines that suppress your immune system for a long-term condition
- You are currently taking part in another clinical study, or have done so in the past 3 months
