Who might be able to join this trial:

• You have been diagnosed with a stroke at least 3 months ago
• You have a good enough level of thinking and memory skills, as measured by a standard cognitive test (confirm with trial site)
• You are able to sit up on your own and carry out basic tasks using your arms and hands
• The muscles in your affected arm are not severely stiff or rigid, based on a standard medical scale (confirm with trial site)
• Your affected arm and hand have some movement, but are not fully recovered — falling within a specific range on a standard arm function test (confirm with trial site)
• You can grip and move objects with your affected hand, and have at least some muscle strength in that arm
• You have reduced ability to sense the position of your affected hand or wrist without looking at it (confirm with trial site)

Who may not be able to join:

• It has been less than 3 months since your stroke
• You have a broken bone, serious soft tissue injury, or a reason why a vibration-based treatment would not be safe for you
• You have severe sensitivity to touch or a painful condition in your limb called complex regional pain syndrome
• You have received certain treatments affecting your arm function in the past 3 months, such as Botox injections, surgery, or nerve-blocking procedures
