Who might be able to join this trial:
- You must be a patient who receives care at the University of Rochester Medical Center Pulmonary Hypertension Clinic.
- You must be an adult (over 18 years old) who has been diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension related to scarring or stiffening of the lungs, confirmed by a heart procedure called a right heart catheterization, and your treatment has not changed for at least 30 days.
- You must have access to a smartphone or email to receive daily messages.
- You must be considered medically stable by the study doctor.
Who may not be able to join:
- You are currently pregnant.
- Your pulmonary hypertension falls into certain specific medical categories known as Groups 1, 2, 4, or 5 (confirm with trial site).
- Your resting heart rate was faster than 120 beats per minute during the initial screening check.
- You are unable to walk.
- Your pulmonary hypertension is classified as the most severe level of physical limitation, known as WHO Functional Class IV (confirm with trial site).
- You do not have access to email or text messaging.
- You are currently taking part in a rehabilitation program.
