Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 years or older
- People who have been diagnosed with a stroke (either caused by a blocked blood vessel or a bleed in the brain), confirmed by a CT or MRI scan
- People who are more than 3 months past their stroke (in the recovery or long-term phase)
- People who have weakness on one side of the body affecting an arm or leg

- People who score 21 or higher on a standard memory and thinking test called the Mini-Mental State Examination
Who may not be able to join:
- People with severe muscle stiffness (spasticity) in the affected arm, defined by a score above 2 on a standard stiffness scale called the Modified Ashworth Scale
- People with reduced consciousness, or severe hearing loss, severe vision loss, or a significant difficulty understanding or producing language (global aphasia)
- People with bone or joint conditions affecting the movement of the affected arm, such as a fracture or arthritis
