Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People aged 18 years or older
  • People who have been diagnosed with a stroke (either caused by a blocked blood vessel or a bleed in the brain), confirmed by a CT or MRI scan
  • People who are more than 3 months past their stroke (in the recovery or long-term phase)
  • People who have weakness on one side of the body affecting an arm or leg

Who may not be able to join:

  • People with reduced consciousness, or severe hearing loss, severe vision loss, or a significant difficulty understanding or producing language (global aphasia)
  • People with bone or joint conditions affecting the movement of the affected arm, such as a fracture or arthritis
