Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are generally well enough to carry out light activity and care for themselves (a measure called ECOG Performance Status of 0 or 1)
- People with a life expectancy of at least 3 months
- People whose prostate cancer has been confirmed by a tissue or cell sample (biopsy or similar test) as a specific type called adenocarcinoma
- People whose cancer has continued to grow or spread during or after their most recent cancer treatment
- People who are currently receiving hormone-suppressing treatment (called androgen deprivation therapy) through injections or implants, or who have had surgery to remove both testicles
- People whose cancer has spread to other parts of the body (metastatic disease)
- People whose liver, kidneys, and other organs are functioning at an adequate level
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have received any approved cancer treatment within the past 14 days, or within a timeframe based on how long the drug stays in the body (confirm with trial site)
- People who have bone lesions that are considered structurally unstable and at risk of fracture
- People who have cancer that has spread to the brain or the lining around the brain or spinal cord, and it has not yet been treated
- People who have pain that is not well controlled
- People who have been diagnosed with another cancer within the past 5 years
- People who have had an infection requiring antibiotic treatment through a drip within the past 14 days, or antibiotic tablets within the past 7 days, or who have signs of a current infection
- People with any other medical condition or abnormal test result that, in the trial doctor's judgement, could make participation unsafe or affect the trial results
