Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 years or older
- People who feel they have mild to moderate hearing difficulties or hearing loss
- People who are comfortable using a smartphone and able to complete a self-fitting process through an app

- People with severe or profound hearing loss (based on a specific hearing test measurement)
- People with certain warning-sign conditions that are relevant to over-the-counter hearing aid use, as defined by US regulations
- People with a visible physical deformity of the ear, whether present from birth or caused by injury
- People who have fluid, pus, or blood coming from the ear
- People who have experienced a sudden or rapidly worsening hearing loss, typically within the past 90 days
- People who experience dizziness or balance problems related to their hearing
- People who have pain or discomfort in or around the ear
- People who have a significant build-up of ear wax or a foreign object in the ear canal
- People who have hearing loss in one ear only that came on suddenly, or a large difference in hearing ability between their two ears
