Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults who are 40 years of age or older.

Who may not be able to join:
- People who have asthma, known stomach ulcers, or are currently experiencing a sudden worsening of their COPD symptoms.

- People who have taken a type of stomach acid medication called a histamine-2-receptor antagonist in the past week, or antacid medications in the past 24 hours.
