Who might be able to join this trial:
- Patients who are currently admitted to a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, or Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
- Patients who are between 0 and 17 years old at the time of joining the study
- Patients who have a sudden loss of brain function thought to be caused by a lack of oxygen to the brain, or who are considered at high risk for this type of brain injury
Who may not be able to join:
- Patients who are pregnant
- Patients who have an active implanted medical device, such as a pacemaker, implanted defibrillator, implanted insulin pump, deep brain stimulator, vagus nerve stimulator, cochlear implant, or a programmable shunt
- Patients who have surgical hardware inside their body that is not safe for use near an MRI machine (for example, certain staples or screws)
- Patients who have tattoos or permanent make-up containing metal located on the head or neck
- Patients where there is a concern that metal may be present in the eye, for example former or current welders, metalworkers, or anyone with a history of a metal-related injury or metal fragments in the body
