Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with a stroke at least 6 months ago (stroke can have been on either side of the brain)
- You are between 45 and 65 years old
- You do not have significant memory or thinking problems (based on a standard memory test score above 23)
- You are able to follow and carry out a 3-step instruction
- Your overall health is stable
- Both men and women can apply
- You are able to travel to the medical centre for appointments
- Your balance score falls within a specific range on a standard balance test called the Berg Balance Scale (score of 21–50)
- You are physically able to take part in an exercise programme
- You do not have any heart or joint/muscle problems
Who may not be able to join:
- You have memory or thinking difficulties that would stop you from taking part
- You have other conditions affecting the brain or nervous system
- Your stroke happened recently (within the last 6 months)
- You have vision problems that cannot be corrected with glasses or contact lenses
- You have other health conditions such as heart disease or diabetes (confirm with trial site)
- You experience pain when standing or walking
- You are not able to fully participate in the study activities
