AI generated eligibility summary. Written by an AI model from the official source data and checked on a sample basis. It can contain mistakes, so confirm anything important against the original source. How we use AI

Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who fully understand the study, are willing to follow all trial procedures, and agree to sign a consent form
  • People who are 18 years of age or older (any gender)
  • People who have been diagnosed with atopic dermatitis (eczema) using a standard set of medical criteria called the Hanifin-Rajka criteria

Who may not be able to join:

  • People whose atopic dermatitis has been either improving on its own or getting much worse very quickly in the 2 weeks before the study begins
  • People whose skin condition affects only the hands or feet, with no history of it appearing in other typical areas such as the face or skin folds
  • People who have skin changes at the area where the study treatment would be applied — such as significant darkening of the skin, large scars, or tattoos — that could make it harder to assess the treatment's effects
  • People who have another skin condition at the treatment site that could affect how the treatment is evaluated, including conditions such as psoriasis, acne, skin cancer, widespread skin redness (generalised erythroderma), or Netherton's syndrome
  • People with a history of cancer, except in certain specific situations — for example, where certain early-stage or non-spreading cancers were fully removed more than 5 years ago with no signs of return (confirm with trial site for full details)
