Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are 18 years of age or older
- People who have been diagnosed with HER2-positive breast cancer (confirmed by a tissue sample) that cannot be surgically removed and has either spread to nearby areas or to other parts of the body
- People whose cancer is being treated at either the first or second stage of advanced disease — this includes those who have not yet had systemic treatment for their advanced cancer, as well as those who have already received certain prior treatments involving taxane and trastuzumab (with or without pertuzumab), or whose cancer returned within 12 months of completing earlier treatment
- People for whom the treating doctor has planned a treatment regimen that includes a drug called pyrotinib, and where the doctor considers that a drug called Ruikang trastuzumab could be a possible next treatment if the pyrotinib-based regimen stops working
- People whose full medical records from throughout their treatment period are available and can be reviewed
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have not signed the required consent form
- People who are pregnant or currently breastfeeding
- People who are already taking part in another clinical trial involving an experimental or approved drug at the time of enrollment
- People who the treating doctor determines are not suitable for the trial for other medical or clinical reasons (confirm with trial site)
