Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 18 and 70 years old
- You have experienced at least 12 episodes of a specific eating disorder behavior (such as binge eating, purging or other compensatory behaviors, and/or severely restricting food intake) in the past 12 weeks
- You own a smartphone
- You are willing to complete regular short surveys on your phone and allow certain data to be collected by sensors (confirm with trial site for details)
- You currently live in the United States
- You already have a primary care doctor, or you are willing to find one before joining the trial
Who may not be able to join:
- You are not able to speak, read, and write in English fluently
- Your Body Mass Index (a measure of body weight relative to height) is below 17.5, which may indicate a very low body weight (confirm with trial site)
- You have serious physical health complications from your eating disorder that need immediate medical treatment
- You are currently receiving therapy specifically focused on treating an eating disorder
- You are currently experiencing serious mental health conditions such as active thoughts of suicide, psychosis, bipolar disorder, or a substance use disorder, or you have an intellectual disability that would make it difficult to participate in the study
