- Men and women over the age of 50 who have been referred to specialist healthcare for knee osteoarthritis (a condition where the cartilage in the knee breaks down)
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have already had a joint replacement in the affected knee, or where a revision (repeat) joint replacement surgery is being considered
- People who have had a joint replacement surgery in the opposite knee
- People who have serious health conditions that are not well controlled
- People who have cognitive difficulties (problems with thinking, memory, or understanding)
- People whose knee problems are mainly due to a recent injury (within the last 6 months), or whose knee condition is mainly caused by psoriatic arthritis or rheumatoid arthritis
- People who are not able to understand Norwegian
- People who do not own a smartphone
