Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are pregnant and have been diagnosed with Restless Leg Syndrome (an uncomfortable urge to move your legs, especially at rest).
- Your pregnancy is between 20 and 34 weeks along.
- You are between 20 and 40 years old.
- You are having moderate to severe sleep problems, based on a standard sleep quality questionnaire called the PSQI (a score above 5).
- You are experiencing tiredness and general discomfort during your pregnancy.
Who may not be able to join:
- You have a high-risk pregnancy or pregnancy complications, such as high blood pressure with organ damage (preeclampsia) or a low-lying placenta (placenta previa).
- You have a history of neurological (brain or nerve) or musculoskeletal (muscle or bone) conditions that are not related to your pregnancy.
- You have been diagnosed with a psychiatric (mental health) disorder, or you are currently taking any medications that cause drowsiness or sedation.
- You have poorly controlled diabetes or a thyroid condition that is not well managed.
- You have taken part in a regular, structured exercise programme or physiotherapy in the last 3 months.
